I just heard from news radio an hour ago that there were 2 clusters of family and their relatives contracted the birdie flu. This imply human to human transmission is now a possibility though China govt insisted its not a pandemic yet. IMF also think so.

Its common to see people wearing face masks in Hong Kong - travelling on bus /train going to see the doctor or going to court. But I am sure these paper masks cannot be effective against bird flu.

Has anyone seen any bird flu masks for sale ? Are there any brand names in face masks to look for when buying masks ?

i have used suppose to be medically approved safe mask designed to be worn in research laboratory very unfriendly virus/baterias/fungus environments. i was working as a facilities technician then. i think you can get it from some GP Clinics or Laboratory Suppliers Companies. It is not cheap and quite hard to breath if you are not use to it.

Truism of Investments.
A) Buying a security is buying RISK not Return
B) You can control RISK (to a certain level, hopefully only.) But definitely not the outcome of the Return.

A collapsed lung, or pneumothorax, is the collection of air in the space around the lungs. This buildup of air puts pressure on the lung, so it cannot expand as much as it normally does when you take a breath.
