GP Industry have been aggressively buying shares of GP Bat. Despite the run up, GP Bat is still trading at < 0.6 BV.

GPI already owns 85%, with the aggressive buying it will cross 90% eventually. Looks like it is going to privatise GPB and can even recognise negative goodwill.

Based on the latest GPI announcement, it owns 59% and not 85%.

"Following the completion of the acquisition of the Additional GPB Shares, the Company’s interest in GP Batteries will increase from 97,224,644 GPB Shares, representing approximately 58.99 per cent. of the shareholdings in GP Batteries, to 97,274,444 GPB Shares, representing approximately 59.02 per cent. of the shareholdings in GP Batteries"
