GP Batteries International
Gpi has done another share purchase of gpb@0.76 post dividend. Given this scenario, I think Gpi will continue buying the shares as long as gpb is below 1.15. That price is around 10xp/fcf. However the buyback will be slow given the limited cash in gpi

Parent GPI has bought stake on 27 Aug @ $0.79.
As it has been concentrating buying back its own shares, GPB has drifted back to 75.5 in the absence of GPI buying. When will GPI resuming its GPB purchase? Revested GG

GPI finally resume their open market purchase of GPB after a month long absence. How far will they go this time round remains to be seen. Anyway GPB continues to trade at 50% discount to last reported book value so GPI will continue to benefit by accumulating stakes in a key contributing subsidiary. Vested GG

Do you notice Duracell batt has a tendency to leak chemical in your device after many months? Duracell batt has spoiled quite a few of my devices and i have vowed never to use them again. I never have such problems with Energiser.

Bought 14k @ 0.76, 1k @ 0.765 Wonder if GPI will turbo charge GPB this time round...

Yup interesting that GPI is buying into GPB as usual.
In my opinion, this stock is good with possibility of GPI asking GPB to announce higher dividends in order to finance the share buybacks of GPI and GPB. <watchlist but likely not to vest in it>
