Anyone tried its burger in US? There is one outlet in Singapore too. Anyone tried?

Fresh ingredients. They don't have any freezers nor can openers in their outlets (their tag line). All their lettuce are hand-peeled, and fries hand-cut. You can see them doing it through their glass kitchen wall.

I'm not a fast food person, but I'd eat theirs.

I use to eat at In and out quite a bit when studing and working in the US. Their formula is simple, fresh, cheap, simple and cool "better than a fad".

In that case, it is probably impossible to run this chain in Singapore since all fresh ingredients probably will have to be air flown. They probably can open one in Iskandar.

Most exotic burgers in Singapore are way more expensive than in their countries of origin.

Unbelievably... even Japan can server a cheaper sausage Mcgriddle(100 Yen, 200 Yen with kopi) than Singapore.

If In-N-Out's strategy is open stores that are within a truck journey from the centralized production plants to ensure freshness, then Singapore should be a best place, everywhere in Singapore is within the distance.

There are other reasons that push it out. Rental is likely one of the reasons.

i doubt they will ever open in Sg.

it is essentially a family biz, and even within the US, they only operate on the west coast.

yes, base on my limited knowledge on the private company, it has only 140 outlet in US, versu approx. 13K outlets of McDonalds. It has more room than needed in its own turf, before venture abroad.
