Another touching movie that makes me cry halfway.
Morrie suffers from ALS too.
Using his word, he is like a burning candle.
Do watch/read it when you have some time.
Some of my take-away:
1. Once you learn how to die, you learn how to live.
2. Truth will set you free.
3. It’s not about money, it’s about we being a human being
4. We must love one another or die.
5. I had been young, I know it’s terrible to be young.
6. Throw away your book, you can only lost your grade.
7. Fear about aging? It means that you had yet found the meaning to your life.
8. Fantansy is good and you can learn from it, but this is real and I have to accept it.
9. When we are babies, we live to be touch.
10. Am I leading my life as I want to be? Am I whom I want to be?
11. Work, money, ambitions. We bury ourselves in these things. But we never stand back and says, “Is this what I want?”. Unless someone teaches us to.
12. Hunger allow no choice.
13. Life is like a rubber band, pull you one way, you think it’s what you want to do, pull you another way, you think it’s what you have to do.
14. When we were infant, we need others to survive. When we are dying, we need others to survive. Here is the secret, in between, we need each another even more. We must love one another or die.
15. Forgive everybody, everything. Now! Don’t wait. Not everybody has the time that I am getting.
16. Death ends a life, not a relationship.
Strange, every notes that I took, reminds me of a story - a travel story actually.
I'll share with them in the "Travel and Tour" in time to come.
Have a nice week ahead.
Thank you for reading.
