From SGX Annc,

(A) PROPOSED ACQUISITION OF THE ENTIRE ISSUED AND PAID-UP SHARE CAPITAL OF RSP ARCHITECTS PLANNERS & ENGINEERS (PTE) LTD;
(B) PROPOSED ACQUISITION OF VACANT LAND LOCATED IN THE ISKANDAR DEVELOPMENT REGION, JOHOR BAHRU, MALAYSIA; AND
(C ) PROPOSED BONUS ISSUE OF FREE WARRANTS TO EXISTING SHAREHOLDERS

Interesting transformation if it goes thro'... RSP, Peter Lim, Iskandar,...

Interesting alert on a long forgotten stock. Thanks

Strangely, there are no financials available on RSP in the acquisition announcements. RSP has been established since 1956 and to pay up to $223m in shares - surely the public should be informed of the valuation that is being paid - PE and P/B.

As for the Johor landbank, since the development period is lengthy, one can only value based on the price of land that is being paid for.

Lacking transparency.

Is rowsley considered a value stock? i feel so stupid to miss it, i could easily have gotten shares at 21 cents this morning, it closed at 26 cents.

but i also think it is not entirely my fault, i couldnt find any information on RSP so i wont know if the acquistion makes sense or not.. haizz... spoils my christmas

Don't be fooled by hindsight. It's only at 26 cents, you know it rose from 21 cents to 26 cents.

think it's riding on the "JOHOR Wave" play, so... well... do consider the factors in play here...
1) Try NOT to LOSE money!
2) Do NOT SELL in BEAR, BUY-BUY-BUY! invest in managements/companies that does the same!
3) CASH in hand is KING in BEAR!
4) In BULL, SELL-SELL-SELL!

some simplistic STATs.
Land measures approx 9.23 hectares and the proposed township is expected to yield a gross floor area of no less than 10 million sqft

Completion of deal: maximum potential GFA for that land = 10,000,000 sqft

estimate Enlarged Rowsley Issued Shrs post deal =4,862,634,598
2-for-1 Bonus Wrts = 1,978,602,530 wrts
if all Wrts Excercised, Enlarged Rowsley Issued Shrs = 6,841,237,128

So based on maximum potential GFA for that land at 10,000,000 sqft
So max explosure per lot (per 1000 shr) = 2.06 sqft GFA ... that's 0.002056 sqft (or 0.296 sq inch) GFA explosure per share

if all Wrt Excercised,
then max explosure per lot (per 1000 shr)=> LEFT 1.46 sqft GFA ... that's equiv to 0.00146 sqft (or 0.21 sq inch) GFA explosure per share

mkt oledi factoring in huge monies to be make from that "1.46-2.06 sqft GFA" explosure per 1000 Rowsley shrs, though it will take many more years to mkt/sell/build...
if even Water Agreement nearly got torn up, Sultan signatory must be much more valuable..
but I wun be surprised, lots more plays ahead, and some people even laugh at me here.
