I would think technical wise, it is following a nice uptrend line. Don't you think so?

Wow! Vicom actually hit a new record high of $3.74 yesterday (15Jul11, a Friday)!

At the last done share price of $3.70, and based on the 87.169m issued shares (as at 31Mar11), Vicom now has a market cap. of $322.5m; if we include the 1.499m outstanding employees' options (which will be converted into new Vicom shares eventually), Vicom's total market cap. would be $328.0m.

At a market cap. of $322.5m, after deducting Vicom's estimated latest nett cash reserve position of approx. $32.5m (derived by deducting the total current liabilities balance of $25.456m, and the outstanding total FY10 Final+Special dividends payable of $8.463m, from the total current assets balance of $66.451m, as at 31Mar11), and using FY10's NP of $22.165m as a base, Mr Market is now pricing Vicom at a historical PER of approx. 13.0x, nett of cash reserve. If we use FY11's forecast NP of $24.556m (derived by simply using Q1's NP of $6.139m x 4), Mr Market is now pricing Vicom at a current-year PER of approx. 11.8x, nett of cash reserve.

For those value-oriented Vicom shareholders who have bought their shares much earlier at lower prices, the current share price level - created and supported by more enthusiastic investors - is like a dream coming true! It will be really interesting to see how far Mr Market is prepared to reward these shareholders.

Hi Buddies,

Not sure if this has been posted before but for what it's worth.

LTA publishes the age profile of the Vehicles on their site. I've found yearly data so far. Latest data as of 31 Dec 10. (link here)

They also have a treasure trove of data on COE. Link to the page is here.

Hi Nick,

Thanks for the link. Have scrutinized the report and quite a bit of money is going into the building of the new headquarters at Teban Gardens for Setsco. I guess that is why cash flows are not as high as they should be, but it's still very decent and they should have enough cash to pay out better final dividends if this trend continues. Smile
