Can you sell down now at 60? Pls? I buy from you Big Grin

Hello Propertyinvestor,
Bought a few lots of Hotel Properties 2 weeks ago.
Would like to seek your comments on this counter.

This counter losing money on Interlace and D Leedon. Not sure if the impairment charges has been reversed back. And I dont think they will sell Hilton or Forum. Orchard Parade may be better than this.

If for some reasons, you make money out of it...must be your lucky day.

Rolleyes
Whatever Kim Eng says, you do the opposite. Look at what the rubbish analyst wrote about Wing Tai. Rolleyes

Kim Eng Research in a Jan 4 research report says: "In our opinion, Wing Tai is in no hurry to reduce its ASPs to move its high-end inventory yet, given its strong balance sheet and the current high costs of replenishing landbank.

"However, while headline ASPs are likely to remain downward-sticky, developers may subsequently absorb the ABSD either partially or in full to attract buyers. We have hence reduced our ASP assumptions for Wing Tai's high-end projects by 10% to account for this possibility. Even if the high-end segment comes to a complete standstill, Wing Tai is likely to focus on selling the remaining 287 units of Foresque Residences.

"Having reduced our ASP assumptions for the unsold high-end projects by 10% and ascribing a steeper discount of 65% to RNAV, we have lowered our target price to 97 cents. DOWNGRADE TO HOLD."

if u have a 5-10yr holding frame, i agree u won't lose.

but look at the miserable dividend yield.

if hpl doubles in price in 10 yrs, ur investment is growing at 7% pa, this is just 3-4% more than inflation. but what if it doesn't?

and whether it does or it doesn't double in price, look at how much ong bs and the main directors are being paid....

this is kind of towkay huat zai at expense of minority shareholders, in my opinion, doesn't sound attractive. I will avoid hpl personally.
