There was quite a lot of buying/accumulation - so far 1275 lots done! - in the early part of this afternoon at the $0.285 level, and I suppose finally someone serious has reviewed the latest 2Q (ended 31Dec12) results announcement.....
http://info.sgx.com/webcoranncatth.nsf/V...B0020E42E/$file/LanTroVision_Q2_FY2013_Att.pdf?openelement
and has taken notice of the great B/S and financial strengths as well as the substantial under-priced situation of this little gem business and counter. Nice!

After having done a high 6.73m shares and gone up $0.025 to close at $0.31 last Friday (15Feb13), the buying/accumulation continues this morning with 4119 lots done so far (as at 12:00pm) and last done at $0.315. Nice!

Today (18Feb13), Lantrovision closed up another $0.02 at $0.33, backed by a high 10,193 lots done (equivalent to 3.78% of the latest total issued 269,741,836 shares), giving the counter a market cap. of $89.015m. It does appear to me that some parties are accumulating Lantrovision, perhaps in anticipation of something positive coming??

It is great that finally Mr Market is working to value Lantrovision fairly! Think of it the way - why shouldn't Mr Market be willing to value this well-established business with a rock-solid B/S at least at its latest 31Dec12 NAV/share of $0.3673?

Singapore will soon have another new data centre - this time round it will be sited in Hwa Hong Corp's existing 9-storey industrial building located at 110 Paya Lebar Road, Singapore 409009.....

It looks like this will be another good new business opportunity for Lantrovision.....

I have just discovered there is a lot of info on the data centre industry in Singapore and in the region available from the Web.

IDA is developing a data centre park (DCP) to strengthen Singapore's position as an economic and infocomm hub.....
http://www.ida.gov.sg/~/media/Files/Abou...tsheet.pdf
and the proposed DCP - to be sited in Jurong, near the Jurong Bird park - is estimated to occupy an area of about 13 hectares and may consist of six to eight DC buildings providing up to 105,000 sqm3 of DC rackable space....
http://www.ida.gov.sg/~/media/Files/Arch...AnnexA.pdf

There is even a special dedicated "Data Center Singapore" website listing a total of 16 data centres in Singapore now.....
http://www.datacenter.com.sg/
and a Singapore map marked with the existing data centres.....
http://www.datacenter.com.sg/singapore_d...r_map.html

It looks like Lantrovision's early focus on the data centre industry has placed the company in an advantage position and a "sweet spot" as the industry expands further.

A lacklustre 3Q.....

As before, apart from Lantrovision being well-established professional business with a very decent profitability plus with a good track record, what is most glaring remains the huge net cash reserve - standing at $75.05m as at 31Mar13, equivalent to $0.278/share - in the rock-solid B/S. So, when is the jumbo dividend coming?

A brief look at the DC map I can tell you that it is not complete so do not overly rely on it but as a passing reference.

Before I answer your question, I should first refer you to the following 2 documents which detailed the massive capital restructuring exercise - comprising (1) the payment of a very generous $0.01/share Special dividend on 17Sep12, based on the old capital base of 2074.9m shares; (2) a massive 100-into-1 Share Consolidation completed on 10Sep12, which temporarily reduced the capital base to only 20.749m shares; and (3) an equally massive 12-for-1 Renounceable Non-Underwritten Rights Issue at $0.09/share completed on 15Oct12, which raised the capital base to the present more manageable 269.742m issued shares - Lantrovision undertook and successfully completed in Sep/Oct2012.....
http://info.sgx.com/listprosp.nsf/5ec09b...1000c0752/$FILE/LANTRO%20Circular_FA.pdf [Circular to Shareholders on the corporate restructuring exercise]
http://info.sgx.com/listprosp.nsf/5ec09b...400100eb5/$FILE/LanTroVision-OIS-Casting.pdf [Offer Information of the Rights Issue]

Share price wise, the capital restructuring exercise has improved Lantrovision's status from a sub-$0.05 "penny stock" in the past - in fact, the counter had been traded in the range of $0.02+ to 0.03+ for a long time before Sep2012 - to the present a $0.20+ counter, and has also raised its market cap. by approx. 12% so far.

Dividend payment wise from the perspective of the longer term shareholders, as most of them applied the money from the $0.01/share Special dividend to pay for the new rights shares, actually they have not received any real dividends since the last one of $0.019/share paid on 10Oct2007, even though Lantrovision has been generating profits and accumulating cash most of all these years.

So a 'Big One' coming soon? I hope so.
