If your shares are on margin, your name will not appear on their shareholding report. Your nominee's name will appear instead.

I see, thanks! They acknowledged my reply so i gave them the name of my nominee as well.

You must instruct your nominees to send, sign and seal the letter. Otherwise, the management have every right not to entertain or respond to your letter.

Usually your nominee will charge admin fees for this.

If they dont acknowledge your nominees shares, then shares held by F. H. Lee Holdings (Pte) Limited should not be considered too...Tongue

FH lee is the holding company and the Lee Family Vehicle. SInce they control the nominee company, they can always instruct their own company to vest the voting rights in their name.

Got a reply too...

We refer to your email on 7 March 2014.

Please let us have your name as registered with The Central Depository Pte Limited, as we are unable to locate “xxxx xx xxxx” in our shareholding report. If you are holding shares in our Company through a nominee or CPF investment account, we would appreciate it if you could advise us on your shareholding in our Company.

and a subsequent reply..

Quote:Dear xxx xxxx

Thank you for your email. We will reply to you in due course.

Have a good day!

I tend to give people the benefit of doubt. I think they are genuine in assessing how many shares are behind this "effort". So I won't be asking the nominees to write to them. Let's see what happens

don't spend unnecessary $$$. We are not putting anything to vote. It is up to them to believe or not to accept your word on your shareholdings.

Has anyone started compiling minority shareholder's list and total % of shares?
if got minority shareholder >10%, it could mean something useful! Smile
1) Try NOT to LOSE money!
2) Do NOT SELL in BEAR, BUY-BUY-BUY! invest in managements/companies that does the same!
3) CASH in hand is KING in BEAR!
4) In BULL, SELL-SELL-SELL!

I believe many of use bought shares through a share financing account. If possible, perhaps we could share with each other which brokerage house are our shares park with so we can give joint instructions to the same broking house to represent us instead of paying separate admin charges.
