How did the euro zone get into such a mess? And can it get out of it? This new e-book from Breakingviews and Reuters' award-winning photographers charts the twists and turns of the first phase of the crisis, while offering some pointers to the future.

so huge 36mb too much reading to do in the morning. Big Grin

My own opnion is when you look at what's going on in euro basically right now their thinking is if there's no way out, so instead of giving up and die logically the only way is to try going "in" deeper and hope to find a solution that's why you see germany digging itself deeper and deeper.

right now they spending a lot on repaying debt and taking on more debt to do it, they need to earn more than they spend or else they won't get the monkey off their backs.

I see the solution for euro countries in the end is tweaking their taxes doing it in such a way it won't scare away new investments or businesses that provide jobs but also bring in revenue the government needs maybe increase gst or income taxes and do away or put a kind of restriction cap on their social welfare programs.

it will take a few years.
