quite skeptical of this link-up... though it's will be good for ASEAN if this is made permanent!
1) Try NOT to LOSE money!
2) Do NOT SELL in BEAR, BUY-BUY-BUY! invest in managements/companies that does the same!
3) CASH in hand is KING in BEAR!
4) In BULL, SELL-SELL-SELL!

Yes, often the difference between a victorious or victimised investor is skepticism first (actually to me means do your due deligence). Besides if anything goes wrong or any dispute with this Asean's Bourse link-up with any country, Singapore is on the losing side. (Because who is afraid of a little "Red Dot"? Historically, most Asean countries have been bullying us. Especially our next-door neighbours. Example of one neighbour:- if they "forget" to stamp your passport for entry or exit, it's your fault. You must have sneaked in or out of the country illegally. i am not sure this is
international practice of Malaysia. i think Malaysia reserves this
unfair treatment for people of "Little Red Dot" only. So far what can the PAPYS do or did? i think this "problem" continues until today, you should very well know the answer. Papys can do nothing really solid to protect Singaporeans. Papys just wayang only when some countries bully us.
So, be skeptical about the Bourses-Link-Up is "correct".
For me i like to see how they settle any disputes after the Bourse-LINK-UP. Then it will tell me whether "Little Red Dot" can survive swimming with the Sharks.
Caveat Emptor.
WB:-
1) Rule # 1, do not lose money.
2) Rule # 2, refer to # 1.
3) Not until you can manage your emotions, you can manage your money.
Truism of Investments.
A) Buying a security is buying RISK not Return
B) You can control RISK (to a certain level, hopefully only.) But definitely not the outcome of the Return.
NB:-
My signature is meant for psychoing myself. No offence to anyone. i am trying not to lose money unnecessary anymore.

indeed, I have been waiting for the news for the month. When I call up a number of brokerages, none of them seemed to have any information about it as of 1 week ago.
