I tend to think undervalued stocks you need to have dividend play otherwise it makes no sense. Usually such stocks do not come under the radar of large institution buyers like it nor not it is their funds that move stocks and hence "return" in form of stock appreciation but usually these big buyers are not interested in such small cap. So if you play undervalued stocks that are small cap you need to look for dividend plays otherwise what is your "return" ?

if you buy undervalued "small cap" stocks and sit on it hoping for a takeover is like waiting for your house to get enbloc offer it can happen anytime between now or never.

Many, many moons ago, Intraco was once, " one of the darlings of the market". i think it was the local trading house of our Papy. i am not sure it still is? Now it's chicken only in the market. But chicken sometimes can still lay egg. Did not lose any money from this counter. In fact made some.Big GrinTongue

WB:-

1) Rule # 1, do not lose money.
2) Rule # 2, refer to # 1.
3) Not until you can manage your emotions, you can manage your money.

Truism of Investments.
A) Buying a security is buying RISK not Return
B) You can control RISK (to a certain level, hopefully only.) But definitely not the outcome of the Return.
