Anyone owns this seemingly 'crap' stock?

Based on the just released H1-FY10 result announcement.....

probably Vallianz has one of the smallest business and B/S - Revenue: USD306k; Equity: USD9.68m - among listed companies on SGX!

The funniest thing is that based on the 594.2m issued shares (as at 30Sep10), and the last done share price of $0.11 - down from a high of $0.24 recorded on 30Aug10 - Vallianz now has a market cap of $65.36m. Mr Market seems to be either too generous or totally wrong in this instance. Beware!

Swiber is grooming Vallianz for growth in the O&G sector.

I think it started off with just one vessel and got another 4 from Swiber and later add another 23 from Rawabi. It is going to add another 24 vessels.

Main business should be ship chartering.

B/S stretched to propel earning.

Didn't read up in detail so information maybe a bit hazy.

Because of this.

Singapore: Vallianz Holdings, an integrated offshore marine solutions provider in the offshore oil and gas industry, has signed a three-year collaboration agreement with COOEC, the largest offshore engineering and construction company in China.

Under the agreement, Vallianz will provide certain offshore support vessels, including submersible launch vessels, to support COOEC’s offshore construction activities and operations. The vessels will be made available to COOEC either by charter, or through the award of a project sub-contracted to Vallianz.

COOEC is also one of the largest EPCI (engineering, procurement, construction and installation) contractors for offshore oil and gas exploration and production projects in the Asia-Pacific region. COOEC is a subsidiary of China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC), the largest offshore oil and gas producer in China and the third largest national oil company in China focusing on the exploitation, exploration and development of crude oil and natural gas.

Vallianz ceo Darren Yeo said, “Partnering COOEC will present Vallianz with an enormous opportunity to enter the vast offshore oil and gas industry in China.” [04/07/14]

A very confusing announcement from Vallianz.

The announcement by Vallianz aims to reply to an online post/email about the delay in payment of crew salaries on board a ship, Swiber Explorer.

So Vallianz announces they do not own the vessel. That's ok. In the next paragraph, they mentioned Vallianz has transferred the payment of the salaries of the crew for until August 2016 and the crew should receive the amount within the next 2 days. We are now in end Oct 16. Won't that mean Vallianz will not be transferring Sept and Oct salary during this month?

Hopefully I am interpreting it right
