For the first time KTIS share price is more than KBS.

Next target is to "catch up" with KSL share price.

Is this "target" achievable? Any views?

any reason for the jump?
Of course I am happy it went up, but I gotta question the valuations given for KTIS.
It seems awfully steep. Sure there are strong arguments for the growth, but IMHO, paying for future growth is never good. I wouldn't invest in KTIS at this price.
Hope KW sells out EVERYTHING now at ard 10baht and pays a small portion out as special dividend while investing the rest wisely
<vested>

KTIS released their Q1 results and is paying 0.30baht dividend. I have not looked at the results but heard is good.

Having trouble looking out for this information (as I don't know thai).
Wondering if any buddies out there knows:
How often does KTIS give out dividend? If they give out 0.3 baht dividend in Q1, does that mean they're giving quarterly dividends?
If so, 0.3 baht alone is a 3% dividend IN A SINGLE QUARTER??
Or is this a 1 off event after listing?

I believe this 0.3baht dividend is for the FY13 based on this announcement:
http://www.set.or.th/set/newsdetails.do?...country=US

KTIS's dividend policy is to pay no less than 50 percent of net profits after reserves as stated in this annoucement:
http://www.set.or.th/set/newsdetails.do;...country=US

Based on FY13 EPS of 0.39, the payout ratio is 77%. The amt is about SGD0.39 cent per KWC share.

KTIS Q1 EPS is 0.18bhat. Simply multiply by 4 gives a FY EPS of 0.72baht. Assuming a payout ratio of say 75%, that give a dividend of 0.54bhat which is about SGD0.7 cent per KWC share.

i see. Thanks for the reply.

Just noticed that 2 members of the Chua family also directly appear on the top 20 shareholders of KTIS, in addition to King Wan.
So they have a very strong vested interest for KTIS to do well and truly believe in KTIS.

Yes, the Chuas have direct stake. I think holding on to KTIS may not be so bad a thing after all.

No idea, doesnt seem to be any particular news.
Think it could be because its nearer to the dividend ex date.
KW gives out great dividends, and the fact that there's a mid yr dividend means on an annualised basis, the div is actually even higher
(cos you get to utilise the dividends u receive for half a yr)
Still holding on to my 1000 lots. Expecting it to cross $0.40 before the end of 2014

Some big fish bought 1628 lots @ 0.340 to clear this strong barrier away.

High of today 0.370.

Hmm. Wonder who could have bought quite a big share on it.
