Just noticed I missed out this question asked several months ago. Yes, Shareinvestor does provide stock screening. My complaint about their stock screening is that they do not have enough fundamental data fields for really good screening. Maybe the new Stock Analytics service from Poems that you just discovered is better. It will be good if data like Accounts Receivables, Operating profits, Cost of Goods Sold are provided by Poems. Can someone who has access help to check? Thank you.

Poems service of "Stock Summary" does provides the typical information required in last 5 years and the last 5 Qtrs summaries formats.

For the stock screening, Poems provided the tool as well. Please go to "Stock"->"Research"->"Stock Screener"

You can screen base on typical parameters e.g. market cap, ROE, ROA, margins, yields, PE, PB, current ratio, debt ratio etc.

Hope it help

Thanks for the feedback. As for the Stock Analytics or Stock Summary from Philips, is the data downloadable like DBSvickers Thompson Reuters as excel or csv versions?

Thanks hyom. Better late than never! Tongue

For myself, I prefer simple metric screening. I am always skeptical that multiple screening can often miss out on the quality buys. So typically, I will either do at max a 2 criteria screening before researching through the list one by one - at least for the top 20 or 30. This way, I can to cover more with my net.

Doubt they are downloadable but at least it provides a quick eye-balling of their historical financial performance before going deep into their business and financial numbers - a good and efficient way to sieve out really bad companies and that helps to save a lot of time.

For "Stock Summary", simply right click on the relevant counter under your live price screen (LP1 / 2) and then click on Stock Summary.

The information is sourced from Reuters - does give a pretty good summary analysis of key financial figures
