Who are the "we"? I didn't manage to get it from the petition. Base on the following statement, the "we" likely a group of remiser/broker, an interested party.

"Last time about 5 to 10 years ago, we could make a decent living from the market. But recently our commissions barely hit one or two thousand each month. And that is not because we have not been working hard."

Agreed, very worried about SGX trying to position itself as an oil & gas hub for listings especially tie-ups to have secondary listings of Australian oil & gas plays, smells like another S-chip blow-up in the making Confused

What workload? Big Grin
Unlike 2007, SGX cannot blame the breakdown on overloading of its systems to heavy trading volume Tongue

-------
Source of incident identified Following preliminary investigations and analysis, the outage has been traced to a malfunction in the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems deployed at the SGX data centre. Power is supplied to the data centre from two separate substations. These sources are in turn connected to
individual UPS systems providing four layers of redundancy. Resulting from a momentary fluctuation in power supply from the substations, the UPS systems
switched to its internal power source. However, the internal power source in both UPS systems malfunctioned.

Can they unveil the brand of the UPS used? Big Grin
Bought from AliExpress and selected the one with the lowest price? Tongue
