Dont try to mislead our buddies here , they sold on 29/01 , but NOT TODAY !
The more they sell , the more the share price will go up !
Aberdeen very stupid , sold at 1.01 only .
Now share price 1.07 .

I find it a mystery why the selling or buying of a stock,by a fund,be a factor in investing.

Hi bro,
I do know where you are coming from
Tbh when I start looking at a stock,I alway try to see who are the top 20 shareholders, this is so not just to have a gauge but also to set a few guidelines for myself.
One of the guidelines I set,for example, is to filter out any analysis done by any of the fund who are a substantial shareholder on the basis of being biased.
The reason why I make the earlier remark is because I find that the reasons why a fund pull out of a counter can be of many variations such as capital flow, declining stock fundamentals,etc...
The underlying fundamental of a fund is to maximize its return within a certain budget, just like we will within our's.
Ultimately we bought a stock because of multiple beliefs,it is better we hold on to that beliefs as long as nothing drastic happen to shake it
VB is good in a way it force you to re-look your convictions if someone else managed to find some info that could have been mis-look.
A fund pulling out should only make you question why it is doing so and not a cue to follow suit.

""
let's says a piece of meat that looks like fish meat and taste exactly like fish meat does it make it a fish meat? ""
Does this kind of analogy serve any purpose in VB ? What is the substance relating to fundamentals of investing in Yanlord ?

It seems to me that posts from either party are not "fundamental" related, right CFA?

Moderator, you might want to remove my post if you felt so too.
I have nothing to say.

No problem. The post is at worst, irrelevant, but I believe I understood your point.
"a piece of meat that looks like fish meat and taste exactly like fish meat does it make it a fish meat? " means a S-Chip, look like a local company, and operate exactly like a local company, but does it make it a local company?
Am I right?
