Haha.. Andy Xie again. Take his article with a pinch of salt..

Eg... look at the following article..

In 2011, it was neither US nor china in deep Sh**. It was Europe.

Quote:Nothing symbolizes Japan's decline like its electronics industry. It was the envy of the world and had all the ingredients to take the industry into the mobile internet era. Instead, it embraced insulation and made products just for the Japanese market. Now it is almost irrelevant to the outside world.

Wow... Japan's electronics is irrelevant!!
Has he seen a PCB before?
Even better, does he know how many electronics components are built and designed by Japs in his house??

I alway have the impression that the impact from thailand flood has greater supply chain impact to the world than japan tsunami.

Is April a bad month for stocks?? ;O

looking at the rotational play... i am not soo sure... getting out of market! Big Grin
1) Try NOT to LOSE money!
2) Do NOT SELL in BEAR, BUY-BUY-BUY! invest in managements/companies that does the same!
3) CASH in hand is KING in BEAR!
4) In BULL, SELL-SELL-SELL!

Rotational play yes. Small property developers in play atm......but stock market seems lethargy (I was reading an article which said funds continue to flow out of US stock market in the past few weeks) ....seems like a correction in due....plus in Apr/May we have the French Presidential Election plus Greece General Elections....

Sarkozy might lose...although the terrorist attack helped him a bit.....As for Greece, those who stand for bailout gonna lose and those against gonna win big(unless Greeks behave like Singaporeans.....complain complain but in the end still vote PAP ^^) so what will happen? who knows....so just don't get caught wrong footed.

Well debt is debt, doesn't matter who runs greece they will still have to repay the debt. Same you buy over a business that is hock the ears in debt you still have to repay it you can do it same way as what's happening in greece by selling off assets laying off people ... Big Grin

There's no easy way out, easiest way is to default and go back to their own currency and save their own skins but it's not without pain or repurcussions they will basically shove the german, french and european bond buyers who are probably institutional buyers or government buyers with any reasonable financial muscle. Later when they try to sell their bonds denominated in drachmas it could very well be the same group of people they need to approach whom they screwed over earlier and what do you think will happen Big Grin

It's no easy way out it's bad time to be a european. Sad
