So are you guys implying that the price will go higher once the date is confirmed?

If so, I will be more than happy to take that risk. Seriously, how many instances of cancelled dividends are there versus confirmed? Based on the balance of probability, I believe there is a very good chance to profit from this "fear". [/align]

Those expecting a RTO down the road might be in for disappointment.

As stated in the Q2 earnings report "the Company intends to develop its civil engineering and construction business and is also exploring new business and investment
opportunities in both the construction and property sectors".

This round of bumper dividend will cost the company SGD58.5 mil. Cash level will be reduced to approximately SGD20 mil. Since the company is venturing into new business, they will need to keep some cash for working capital. IMO, there isnt much meat left if investors are looking for dividends.
There are no good stocks. Stocks are only good when they go up after you bought them.

Why did they sell the HK properties which they could keep them for a larger portfolio? They built up the cash and then distribute a major chunk to shareholders. Why don't they keep the cash or simply pay the traditional $0.008 dividend slowly? There's hardly too much cash when it comes to property. And post dividend, the market cap will shrink, theoretically to only $36m. Even Pollux is bigger than that. I can't think of a smaller SG property counter. Anyone? Why haven't they exercised the call option on ATS?

The company has already received the Second Tranche money.

In the "worst case" scenario of them investing S$30m into the Property Business, they are still left with about $10m.

Company couldn't tell me if SGX will consider it as a cash company without ATS.

spend time reading this company.....weigh the pros and cons....might be worth the effort ^^

doubt so.....nothing going to happen between now and dividend payout I guess......after payout, interest may die down.....might be good time to take a look
