ST bought more:

212 lots @ 24.5 cents on 2 Aug

Just to confirm, is ST allowed to buy from the market all the way until public float is less than 90%? Thanks!

I really hope minority shareholders should stop selling to ST. Selling to ST at this juncture - even at the latest price of $0.245/share which its higher than his last GO price - is utterly stupid, bearing in mind it is still his intention to privatize Eastern Holdings, and soon or later he will be making a 2nd attempt.

For those minority shareholders who choose to sell or are in need of cash, I think they should learn to be more patient and queue at higher prices, or consider borrowing against their shares and wait for ST's 2nd GO attempt.

How long does it take to buy 24m shares from
Open market at a rate of 200k shares per trading
day?

Very long.

Substantial shareholders are finally thinking. IMO, at 11.25am, the current selling price of 33 cents (for 1,165,000 shares) still undervalues the company by at least 30% but it is at the very least a much fairer price

but is ST drags and drags this whole thing out for the next few years... comes outs with all the negative tricks.. (little/no dividends..etc) .... what can we do??! :O
1) Try NOT to LOSE money!
2) Do NOT SELL in BEAR, BUY-BUY-BUY! invest in managements/companies that does the same!
3) CASH in hand is KING in BEAR!

Ya. Need about 100-200 trading days.

And it will get more difficult as there are less weak hands.
