i believe SGX should have the power to call for it since they are the exchange and the listed co needs to follow their rules.

you are right that the original auditors might complain as this is sort of not having trusts and faith in their audits. but i am sure that the investor, the ceo of fraudless s-chip will welcome it though it might actually be better for some of them to take advantage of the current price to privatise. of course, Singapore is not the sole country to be affected by s-chip, you have hong kong, US and Malaysia too

There are stories on other companies where short term personal loans or company loans are taken to put into bank, just so auditors can verify that the cash in the bank. The loans are returned immediately after the auditors are satisfied with the balances.

There are hundreds of SGX queries as they are routine, so don’t know why you are singling out Eratat for one typo error, which is no big deal ? Please come to the point as don’t know what you are implying ?

1) Hundreds of SGX queries? What's your time period? Where is your statistics?

Generalisation and fake numbers do not bring you anywhere.

2) 370 being typed as 200, and brushed off as a typo error. That is too obvious a mistake. A numerical error can mean huge differences. We are not talking about spelling mistakes; we are talking about listing the number of shops for renovation subsidy to be 200 when it was supposed to be 370.

Are you to say that this is no big deal? 370 shops vs 200 shops?

Please read the reports carefully again. Obviously you didn't.

Don't need to be rude and don't need to use big words like statistics as I know you are smart as you have a financial blog. Just go to SGX website and enter "SGX queries" and there are close to 100K matches over last few yrs. You can count how many SGX queries there are this yr . I am not going to do this, as unlike you, I have a life.

As for the typo error, you are implying Eratat is trying to mislead. Check out the 1Q results and its Press Release. 1st doc pg 4 said 370 shops and pg 11 said 200 shops, which was explained to SGX as typo error. 2nd doc Press Release also said 370 shops. So why can't you accept this could be a genuine typo error ? I have met and talked to the CFO Ken Ho many times over the yrs, and I don't think he's stupid enough to mislead in a doc like this.

I'd let the readers judge if you have been fair to this counter and all those vested ? I think you have an axe to grind. I'd respect you if you buy one lot and go to the next AGM to confront Ken Ho instead of hiding behind the keyboard. The free T-Shirt and buffet lunch should more than offset this cost .

Guess those with heavily vested interests usually like to hear only positive reports, and turn very emotional on negative outlooks on their investments, to the point of resorting to personal attacks :x

Thanks and have a good weekend.
