Wine investors see red

seems like luck is not on his side....few yrs ago did follow him to invest in few stocks but all got burnt, FSL & the 3 foods,,,,hehe

Wine is not necessarily a bad investment. I have read that some premier Cru from the right vintages rising many folds in prices primarily due to Chinese demand.

However, it's another matter if we invest in wine thru these wine marketing co, just like investing in land thru land banking companies. They have v high overheads (especially in sales n mkting cost) and certainly need high markups even if they r not scammers. So the Odds are stacked against generating decent returns for their "investors". Many of such companies will therefore have to employ some "ponzi" scheme in order to continue to attract "investors".
