He does come across as enjoying the attention, but nothing wrong with that.

I rather have Mano on the microphone than some baffled retirees asking qns that do not just irritate the BOD, it irritates every shlders.

There are also some who not only ask qns.... they also give advice to management. OMG.

2Q/1H results just out.....

Operating profit and margins are down due to lower room rates in most markets, and additional costs from the newly acquired Burasari Resort and higher direct expenses incurred by newly renovated Hotel Royal Bangkok @ Chinatown. Latest 30Jun15 NAV/share fell to $6.28 after accounting for a loss in forex translation reserve due to the weakened MYR and NZD vs. SGD.

Hotel Royal remains a super asset-rich counter. Based on info in the latest FY14 AR.....
http://infopub.sgx.com/FileOpen/Hotel_Ro...eID=342960
, the revised NAV/share (after revaluation of all investment properties and freehold hotel buildings) stood at $8.35 as at 31Dec14. When compared this with the last done share price of $3.48, we can say Hotel Royal is a great value buy.
