There was a stated requirement that "minimally the principal shd be guaranteed."

Therefore investment in stocks is out of the question.

Yeo san, thanks ...wow yr guess very 'chun'

Yar lor, kenna called back by my ex-boss....but the job very demanding, still in real estate field but more to project works.

Actually i can retire and lay back with my passive rental income, but end of the day I find income from salary and with the savings at the right time invest in properties. This is still the safest and fastest path to financial freedom.

Oh, 1 good new for me, my fresh graduate son at last got a job in 1 of the biggest local bank, a great relief for me....cheers

Wow... Uncle Koh, you are the inspiration for the younger generation. If your son has served NS and gone through a min 3 years university education, you should be around 50 years old.
You are still working hard and keep your knowledge relevant to the world although you can basically live off the passive income.

Congratulation to you for both your new career and your son's job!

Haha, I had thought the nickname "Koh_52" gave an indication as to his age. Tongue

Jokes aside, yes he is an inspiration indeed. I hope I can say the same when I hit 50+ too!
