Sometimes, the main shareholder just wants to try his luck. In this case, his luck isn't that good so far. Around 73.88% till date.
If he hits 85%, the probability of raising the price will be higher.
Currently, even he raises it to 97cts, the rest may not bite too.
So, why spend the extra $$$ and still end up not being able to delist.

Quote:other Shareholders in respect of an aggregate of 34,340,690 Offer Shares,
representing approximately 3.19% of the total number of issued Shares

As so many had said, 88cts is cheap. So, the substantial shareholder has already raised his stake at a cheap price of 88cts without resorting to buying it through market.
The probability of a revised offer is half-half. Personally, I do not think that Mr Putra Masagung is in a hurry or desperate to delist. But who knows, maybe we will see a revised offer this evening. Tongue

At the other end, Mr Ben Chng of Viz Branz is quite desperate though.

Assume that the controlling shareholders made an offer at 97 cents to start with, other shareholders would still expect a revision of the offer; hence, if I am the controlling shareholders, I will also first offer a price lower than the final price I am willing to offer, and then revise the price upward later.

I believe 97 cents is fair to both parties. I am one who bought more at 88 cents from the market after weighting the risk and reward.
