Thanks, I have received the information on the username/password for this forum. However, being an IT-Idiot, I think I'll probably still need help from someone to bring the forum back up again should anything happen! But at least it addresses one of the concerns brought up - which is that control of the forum is vested in just one person.

Oh well I guess the saying goes - Don't put all your eggs in one basket (forum)! Haha....

I think what you can do for contingency is to backup all the "php" files and it's directories ONCE. You would only need to do this ONCE.

There's actually a built in backup function in the "Admin" section. I reckon you should see an "Export" tab or menu. That should be the place to do it.

It's great to have the value investing forum back. It was from Afralug that I learnt about gem companies like Thomson Medical and Kingsmen. Hopefully, we can discover and share more gems in the stock market.

Thanks for setting up this forum. Was wondering what would happened to Afralug forum when it closed down so abruptly.

Just read this is a per dollar monthly forum, am glad its this amount as few would wan to contribute monetarily at this pt of time.

Anyway, I would suggest having a plan in mind for a more robust forum (ie. more expensive forum) once the readership goes up, which seems like to be once the mkt sentiment changes for the better.

For koh 52, i think i once saw him in CNA forum, not sure of this though. Anyway, d.o.g might has his contacts for i believe they are in a client-mgr relationship. MW hv to cnf with d.o.g on this.
