Oh ya... the PSA canteen at keppel road.
Excellent indonesian nasi padang and mee rebus.
Mee rebus - $2.50 super good
The nasi padang with barbecue fish + 2 dish - $4 to $5
Should visit this place before it disappears in future

MP BYK publicly corrected his statement.
Now he said because he thought Bandung is $0.50 so the Nasi Padang is $2.50.
I am sure he has too much subsidized or free food provided by his runner till he don't know what is happening.
Also since they don't have to pay so much for food and medical.. who do they need so much salary?

$1.50 will taste like crap. To provide this kind of food they have to cut corner everywhere it will have a lot of rice but only 3-4 flatten thin silvers of chicken and maybe give you cabbage in place of cucumber. Maybe this kind of thing was priced to make affordable for poorer people but you will see once word gets out there's a lot of gian png people flock there eat and not say they cannot afford to pay normal price, they must feel shiok stealing food meant for poorer people.
The food vendor also stupid guy spoil market for everybody including himself, he's only able to operate on volume if his raw material is kept low so he has to source the cheapest and scrubbiest and that's you are putting into your body all the crap stuff that can't really be good for your health. And when his landlord see all the long queue must think there's a lot of business start to up rental then you see that miserable 3-4 chicken maybe will become 2 pieces and no more cabbage also in the end the rent keeps going up he will work until he die and still cannot make money so only outcome is close shop.
I see several similar cases like that already.
