Britain credit rating down....

LONDON: Ratings agency Standard and Poor's said Britain's top-notch "AAA" credit rating is no longer tenable after voters opted to leave the European Union, the Financial Times reported on Friday.

"We think that a AAA-rating is untenable under the circumstances," Moritz Kraemer, chief ratings officer for S&P, told the FT.

Rival ratings agencies Fitch and Moodys have already stripped Britain of their AAA ratings, long before the referendum campaign began.

S&P has previously said its AAA rating for Britain reflected its assumption that the referendum would deliver a vote to remain in the EU.

no use one. Unless the GBP stays down, the money changer cartel will hold the price until they cleared their inventory.
after that, then the price will adjust.

best is to have a UK account, just TT the money over.

Scots wants to long pang on UK to enter EU...

Scotland voted to REMAIN in this referendum because they want to be in Europe, which was one of the key reasons for the Scottish Referendum. With UK leaving Europe, this rationale doesn't exist anymore.... and for Scotland to remain in Europe, they have to leave the Kingdom.

Indeed, the fact of the "deep yellow color" only points to that direction. They rather be in the big club (EU) than the small club (UK).
You can count on the greed of man for the next recession to happen.

George Soros predicted 20% drop in pounds, almost there.

But unless investing in UK Assets/stocks, I would just change as needed, never know what forex will do, so volatile.

Economy wise, UK is still unable to balance their budget and GDP growth non-existent. Only thing left is the London property boom, now with BREXIT and new tax and measures even that will go down the longkang...

So there is actually nothing positive for the pound in the short term next few months, until they get a new prime minister and their political situation stabilise. All the big businesses will be risk off reaction now. I just saw their Bank of England boss Carney try to reassure the country they have adequate funding, they can pump up to 250 billion pounds!!! will pounds become worth as much as toilet paper if they do that?

Many people must be at the ATM getting out their money or dumping their pounds now...
Virtual currencies are worth virtually nothing.
