Parc Komo is a new freehold condominium being launched in the Changi area, at the corner of Jalan Mariam and Upper Changi Road North. This is a low-rise estate, surrounded mainly by landed semi-detached and terrace houses, generally one to 3 storeys high. It will comprise mainly residential apartments, but will have a commercial shops component as well. This replaces the current row of shops fronting Upper Changi Road North.
The Parc Komo condo is being developed by CEL, the property arm of Chip Eng Seng, a home-grown and very reputable developer with a strong track record. They come fresh from having very successfully launched Park Colonial in July last year, with sales of that having comfortably crossed the 70% mark.
Anyway if you enjoy being in a quiet corner of Singapore, away from all the hustle and bustle of city life, and don't care too much about having an MRT station on your doorstep, then the Parc Komo condo could likely suit you. And the advantage about this project is that it will probably be one of the most affordably priced new freehold launches around.
Of course no corner of Singapore, no matter how far it may seem to urbanites like us, is really far from anything major. So the Parc Komo location is actually within 5 to 10 minutes drive from Changi Business Park, Tampines Centre, and Changi Airport, including the much touted Jewel at Changi. It is just that to get to the nearest MRT station, you do need to take a bus a few stops to Tampines.
Sales haven't actually started yet. The Parc Komo showflat is still under construction, and the project is pending approval for sale. Floor plans and other details have not emerged yet, so it will likely launch only around April 2019.
