Jui Residences is a freehold condominium at the city fringe in the District 12 Boon Keng area, along Kallang River.  It will be developed by Selangor Dredging Berhad (SDB), who bought this site in Serangoon Road from the National Aerated Water Company (NAW).  The existing NAW building on the site has been gazetted as a conservation building, and will be incorporated into the new Jui Residences project as part of the development.

This makes Jui Residences unique in being part of the heritage of the NAW building, allowing it to be brought to life through adaptive re-use. The NAW was where soft drinks like RC Cola, Sinalco & Kickapoo Joy Juice were bottled, and is part and parcel of Singapore's industrial heritage, and one of the last remnants of Kallang River's industrial past.  It will house 3 commercial units that will be opened to the public, while the new Jui Residences block will comprise 117 residential apartments.

This project is therefore envisioned as a unique and lively commercial development located next to a park connector, beside Kallang River.  This park connector runs from Bishan-Ang Mo Kio park to Gardens By The Bay, turning the river into a vibrant communal space.

Residents at Jui Residences will enjoy a riverside lifestyle where outdoor activities and healthy lifestyles are promoted.  Design-wise, it will also be a home for the modern minimalist, crafted and curated by innovative designers, and brought to life by the award-winning CarverHaggard of London.  The Jui Residences showflat will tentatively open for viewing appointments starting from 15 September 2018.  Please do drop us a line if you are interested to know more or to view the showflat.

Latest update on Jui Residences: targeting to possibly launch on Friday 14 September instead of 15 September.

Also, the indicative pricing has been released.  Surprisingly good, starting from $741K for the lowest floor smallest one bedder, and $1.163M for similar 2 bedroom unit.  For a freehold development at the city fringe to launch at the same pricing as 99-year leasehold Park Colonial nearby, especially since Jui Residences is slightly nearer to town, is encouraging.  Given that sales at Park Colonial have been pretty good at this level, and in fact has gone over 55%, means that the Jui condo is worth considering.

Latest update: the launch date has been changed (again!). Back to Saturday 15 September 2018. Looks like it is going to clash with at least 3 other projects!
