Budget 2018 has caught some buyers by surprise. The change in buyer stamp duty to 4% for properties above $1 million have some mixed reaction from the ground.

Some felt that the property prices will dip and some felt that the change is insignificant. A day after the Budget 2018 was released, analyst were quick to add that this is not part of a cooling measure.

However some felt that the upcoming new launches like Margaret Ville, The Tapestry at Tampines, The Verandah Residences might not be well received.

Nim Collection , a collection of landed homes by Bukit Sembawang Estates Limited is the first to launch on Monday. Lets just wait and see how the turn out will be for the upcoming launches.
