another good company goes for delist Sad

Have to accept the revise offer liao. I am happy since I only vested in Oct 14.

How good the chance the delisting will success? Is CH and Peh going to surrender their shares?

I still don't think it's a good offer, quite stingy in fact. Only 7.8% above the last traded price. Those boats are always undervalued and they had went through a few rounds of capital distribution after selling boats much higher than book value.

Congrats to all shareholders!

I'm holder of Chuan Huat shares. Wonder how this offer will affect CH share price?

Mr Peh is one shrewd businessman! He is laughing all the way to the bank, twice. I remember he sold and later bought back CHO from Scomi many years ago. Now, he is selling to FEG again. Let's hope he will not forget the small investors in Chuan Hup.

I think your memory is not quite correct. If i remembered correctly, ch sold to scomi but price was not as high as now of about 30% stake. Then scomi turn around and sold it to fe at 70cents. The one laughing to the bank is scomi.

Looks like ch has finally thrown in the towel and i suspect the oil price has got a lot to do with it. Cho has mostly high powered ahts meant for deep water. Outook is rather bleak. What's more if cho remain listed which was the stated intention of the GO then chances are price will fall n ch can go and pick some on the cheap.

Jacmar, you were right. I stand corrected. Nevertheless, this is a good deal for M Peh and hopefully, for the minority shareholders of Chuan Hup too.

Vested. Tongue

Juz noticed that the final offer price is same as the price mentioned in the first post of this thread by prudentbuyer, back in 2010.

Anyway, the offer has gone unconditional today. Falcon now has 62.27%
