On first day of listing price shot up ( 5 Jan 2017) , OOH Holdings whose shares are listed by way of placing on GEM board, on debut, opened at $3.6, and closed the day at $8.2, up over 29 times from the placing price of $0.27, on volume of only 410,000 shares and turnover of $2.44 million. Excluding the handling fee, a book gain of $79,300 was recorded for each board lot size of 10,000 shares.
OOH HOLDINGS (08091.HK, whose shares are listed by way of placing on GEM board, largely fluctuated on the fourth day of listing. After spiking over 29 times on the first day, the stock further rocketed 13% to peak at $9.8 on the second day. Until yesterday, the stock turned south 12%. It once tumbled to $1.99 today, and last traded at $2.1, collapsing 74%, on surging volume of 2.68 million shares.
Obviously the buyer at $9.80 wasn't a VB thinker.
