As explained much earlier, New Toyo NAV of 38 cents is historical and does not include the current market valuation of its investment properties as well as that owned by Tien Wah.

There is at least 8 cents of buffer and this is not taking into account the redevelopment potential of those lands. 8 cents = just sell at current market rate.

Plus $30mil or 6.8 cents of cash from SAH will go into New Toyo next week...Smile

Super steal!

In a few months time, it should be around 45 to 50 cents Smile
We will all wait and see Smile

If New Toyo is a steal, there would have been mad buying by now...

New Toyo share of the capital reduction from SAH ($29mil) should be in by now...
Looking forward for the announcement of special dividend in the next few months ahead, probably in Q2 results in August Smile

Cash level is now 50% of market valuation...

SAH announcement of capital reduction - probably no one bothers to read about this...

haha only 2.28 cents of special dividends, after taking 12 cents (in all) from SAH...

this is super stingy management for you...

Think before you post. Someone might have screenshot your earlier post before you modified it. Next time, please think before you post or you will get VB into unnecessary trouble.

Swee la, looking forward to the 2cent plus dividend.

Er... some buddies have been speculating a big payout based on the full realisation of SAH.

So how does 2.28 cents compared to previous analysis? Care to comment?

Based on other counters' experience - likely NToyo price will be up by 2.5 cents tomorrow.

shouldnt the share price be adjusted downwards from current level by 2.5 cents?

Those expecting big payout might be very disappointed indeed... Share price might adjust downwards by more than the special dividend amt.

The money is already part of New Toyo existing NAV to begin with. This is taking money from own pocket to pay oneself...
Dont think investors are so foolish?

Mr Market did not even want to price in the 2.28 cents of special dividend...now only 31.5 cents ...the volume is still very low...

this shows how much market interest there is in New Toyo!

just to add. The company used the word "interim special dividend". But this does not really mean that it is just the initial around of special dividend.
i have checked a few companies. this is just a reporting format since the dividend is given out mid-term and not after the end of the full FY.

Anyone else has any comments on this use of the word "interim special dividend"?

tks.

I can't see how price is going to drop as long as Stockerman is still active in this thread and have not sold his shares.

if someone so negative in a company but yet not selling his shares, then why would those who are positive in the company sell their shares ???
