Human lives are full of troubles/problems and are "impermanent". Just look around you. How many of your friends are free from health problems of any sorts? ( cancers, backaches, senile, headaches of unknown causes, rheumatism, mental problems, etc.)

Not sure if "life is a game" for people with perpetual health problems, in abject poverty, etc...

If you have a healthy mind and body, you are already a "millionaire" Smile

Can someone help to point out which segment of his Dharma talk is not appropriate?
(e.g. certain concepts of Buddhism that he mentioned, etc.)

many tks.

I moved this thread into Other sub-forum, since it seems more appropriate there.

Feel free to continue in this thread, but be reminded of sensitivity on religious related posts. Big Grin

Thanks

The last part can be very helpful.

That last-few-minutes segment he did explain some good concepts/methods in common-people's language. If anyone hears and can understand and can put into practice, then it's helpful.

I think it's good so I highlighted it in the hope that maybe more people can take a look at that segment.....but I have no view about the speaker, only the things he mentioned at the last part of the video.

Master Lu always had 开示 sessions to talk about Buddhism before he did the Totem to help to relieve the sufferings of people.

If anyone can help to point out which Buddhist concepts that he mentioned at 开示 sessions were inappropriate or wrong, it would be greatly appreciated.

A typical 开示 session below:-

(pay particular attention to 1:15 - last few minutes)
Si Da Jin Gang, Ma Zhu, Ji Gong also arrived at the Hall Smile

Yue Chen, a 12-year-old boy from Shanghai, China, had fallen into a coma due to acute encephalomyelitis. After making Great Vows and releasing 100,000 fish, as well as offering a large number of Little Houses – within merely 40 days, he was saved from the edge of death. His recovery was miraculous, and was soon released from hospital. Deepest gratitude to the Great Merciful and Great Compassionate Guan Yin Bodhisattva.

Video is only 8 min. Pls look carefully. tks.

2 Dharma Protectors appeared in the sky and 伽蓝菩萨 can be seen !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone of us have the seed of Buddhism within us and heart of compassion to help one other out Smile
