Next GE a deadly serious fight for S’pore’s future: PM

Some have the sensations to behave and think like what PM Lee claimed , but the fact is no body is INDISPENSABLE .
If this ship sink , jump to another ship like what our forefathers did.
People who think we cannot survive without anyone are those who have no self confidence or ability to stand on his on.
When one has the ability except those who think like parasites , he/she can survive anywhere and has nothing to fear.
Like our beloved Mr. LKY said, it is stupid to be afraid.

Of course, he sure didn't feel afraid when he lock up people without trial.

Though I do not agree with some of his methods, to say he is not afraid is to forget that he came from a different era of social unrest and communist insurgencies. He had to navigate through treacherous waters, and probably hardened his fighting spirit of no-prisoners because he wasn't likely to be shown mercy either if he stepped wrongly, either from Malaysia, Indonesia, communists or the British.

My biggest worry is our generation has taken things for granted. Not hungry or foolish enough. Like I posted many times, it takes just a generation or 50 years for a country to be totally different, from Ceylon to Burma to Philippines.

Only the paranoid survives.
