The Board expects the Group to report a significant drop in revenue and a loss for 4Q 2012, which
is attributable to the following:
(i) The continuing sluggish demand for high-grade textile products, including both apparel and
umbrella products, has resulted in increasing price pressure from the customers on the
Group’s products;
(ii) The shift in the existing production facilities from the current factory site to the new
production facility of the Company’s subsidiary, Fulian Knitting Co., Ltd, which commenced in
December 2012 has significantly affected the Group’s production; and
(iii) The disposal of old and outdated machine

usually plant start-up stage is not profitable and is quite normal to incur losses then

while for textile products, these days i tot apparel/garment products are usually produced in blangadesh..why is it still in prc?

The decision to shift is made years ago, the new factory just gets delay after delay and incur cost way above the original budget due to delays in getting approvals. When the approval finally comes, here goes.

If I am not wrong, either china is still the world latest exporter of textile or textile is the largest export from china, can't remembered which is which.

A significant of assets comes from the value of the factory at costs, and the costs has ballooned. I used to be vested, I give up.

anticipation of the announcement of the unaudited financial results for the first quarter ended 31
March 2013 (“1Q 2013”), the Board of Directors of Foreland Fabrictech Holdings Limited (the
“Company”, and together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”) deems it appropriate to issue a profit
guidance for the benefit of shareholders of the Company.
The Board expects the Group to report a significant drop in revenue and a loss for 1Q 2013. The
reloction of the existing production facilities from the current factory site to the new production
facility of the Company’s subsidiary, Fulian Knitting Co., Ltd, which commenced in December 2012,
is still in progress. As a result, production has stopped during the course of relocation.
