CDP sees highest 12-month surge in new accounts

Yea, that's the thing- thousands of new accounts (which should be something bullish) doesn't seem to reflect the reality on the ground. I don't hear about taxi driver/cleaning auntie stock market gurus or markets hitting new highs and every uncle/auntie rushing to invest in the markets.

Despite the bullish headline, like many other buddies, I'm not seeing that kind of sentiment on the ground (at least not in SG).
