P10 of FY2019 results certainly looks interesting:

(Revenue)
1H2019 $8.709m    2H2019 $12.245m   --> (yoy increase 48%)
1H2018 $7.785m    2H2018 $8.261m

(Profit)
1H2019 $2.825m    2H2019 $4.170m   --> (yoy increase 106%)
1H2018 $2.496m    2H2018 $2.020m

Looks like the race by many countries to speed up 5G development is certainly benefiting PM Data's wireless business.

Cash & financial assets ($41.52m) and property ($17.07m), adds to a total of $1.69 per share, without including revaluation gains on their freehold property or any value to their wireless business which is now generating close to $7m profit per year.

This little 'powerbank' just keeps charging shareholders bank accounts   Big Grin Big Grin
(Not a recommendation to buy or sell, just stating facts)

It is one of the few small cap company with recurrent side income from property and stocks, which really makes it resilient in times of crisis and one of the few small cap cash cows.. Cash pile is starting to get ridiculous as well.

What a pleasant surprise, the 5G side seems to be growing quite fast, was not expecting this as PD products are in a niche 5G segment!

Do wonder how much huawei and trade war fiasco will impact their business going forward though. But with the global push towards 5G, which is much more hardware intensive than 4G to set up, it does bode well for a hardware manufacturer like PD. If investors start re-rating it as a growth stock and play it up, we could see $3 pretty soon. But i think boss will sell off soon at a low premium, maybe qualcomm buy it up?

A very good news for shareholders indeed!!

Management is beginning to pursue an asset-light model as their wireless business continues to generate more than $7m of net profit (~20 cts per share) after tax. Yes 5G and WIFI 6  is bringing wonderful business to PM Data...

Would not the wireless business be worth at least 15x P/E or more given its superior earnings power, which means it is potentially even more valuable than its cash ($35m) and revalued property ($35m) combined....will Mr Market revalue their wireless business soon? This little tech company has been overlooked for too long...

Looks like Christmas is coming early haha.. half year dividends? Big Grin Big Grin

They also have some research ongoing with google which not been mentioned much by management, that might be the more valuable thing.

Wireless business likely boosted by trade war as powermatic uses qualcomm chips in its hardware and there seems to be a switch in USA to using american based tech products. It seems not only Trump but quite a proportion of the congress there support him. They have even now grounded their high tech drones to make sure no chinese based tech in it.

yes for high growth tech company PE 20+ is often seen. So 20cx20 will be $4. With profit guidance to the upside, this coming year EPS likely to get to 30c. That translate to $6 with PE of 20.

Unfortunately being such a small cap, I reckon it wont be long before we hear of an offer for it, especially since management is looking into capital reduction which means they are amenable to privatisation. Maybe american side qualcomm might decide to take it private.

will try to collect some more today before Mr. Tng initiate another report, his last price target 2.58 last year. Next one will be $3 liao.

Latest results, 1st half FY2020:

https://links.sgx.com/FileOpen/SGX_1HFY2...eID=584574

Very impressive surge in profits by 109%, to 16.87 c/share.

Numbers that particularly caught my eye were:

Revenue up 64%
Cost of sales up 34%
Admin expenses up 19%

Now that is a tightly run ship.

Only managed to add 8 lots @ 2.42 the other day. Still quite thinly traded. Hoot some more tomorrow.. Too bad boss didnt announce any interim or bonus div leh...

1H 16c means FY likely 30c+. PE of 10 means $3 PE15 means $4.50. A few more analyst coverage PE20 means $6 liao lol...

Lets see if Mr. Tng jumps in and rerates to $3++ and maybe a few more analyst jumps in. With sexy 5G growth story and such impressive results, might just become the next market darling. (lets not forget boss is research on a secret project with likely Google)

Seems to me trade war may be blocking cheaper chinese competition and Powermatic is cleaning up Big Grin
