Hi all,
I was looking through IFS Capital's balance sheets and trying out an exercise to calculate the net interest margin. However I am having problems determining which assets are interest-earning.
Under its balance sheet are these items (out of others):
Non-current assets
Other investments
Loans, advances, hire purchase and leasing receivables
Current assets
Reinsurers’ share of insurance contract provisions
Insurance receivables
Trade and other receivables
Other investments
Under comments it's indicated that other investments include corporate bonds and debt securities.
Are all the above items relevant in calculating net interest margin? Appreciate any kind help on this
