I read with a heavy heart "Ethics of sexuality in newspapers" which is in ST today.
For a million dollar, does having FUN equal happiness?
two cases:
1. Look at those marathon runner...
When they are running, did they exhibit having FUN?
Yet, after they make it, you could imagine how happy he/she is...
And, these happy feeling prevail for a long long time... good.
case 2 is opposite.
Smoker was having a kick when they smoke. Similarly, for drugs and drunk.
For a short moment, they feel high.
They might feel good, relax and enjoyed the moment.
However, after the event aka after the smoker takes in the last puff... I can tell you... inside their mind, some will says SH*T, I DID IT AGAIN!
Where is the happiness?
Moral of the story?
Many people is not able to tell FUN from happiness.
If we can tell what's having FUN and what's pursuiting happiness, we are in better control of our actions (and our life).
Thinking... thinking....
A Life not Reflected is a Life not Worth Living.
