Hi All,

Anyone having the same problem as me? I am unable to open those SGX annoucements related to change in holdings such as the one below with my iPad or Android Phone. I get my brother to try with his Win8 pad (dunno the brand/model), and also cannot.

If you are able to open, can tell me how? Thanks.

There is this app call SG stock alert that's available on iTunes. Basically it just prompt you all the announcement that you put on watchlist and save you hassle from running through all the disclosure on SGX website.

I think sometime it works.. sometime it doesn't open the PDF too. Just sharing.

Read that this might work for iPads. Didn't personally verify it, as I do not have an iPad.

Thanks for pointing out. Seems like it is an year old issue already. Why only for such announcements that they must make special?

Sigh...

As mentioned above, "SG stock alert" apps is useful.

For insiders' transaction, there is a link for summary of the transaction, no need to open the stupid new version pdf (which mobile device cannot open normally). not sure how could the app do it.

For other types of announcement, I have no problem open the older version pdf, with ios 4.3.

That version of PDF was created by Adobe called Dynamic XFA , which can only be read by Adobe Reader.

Even though you might only have installed Adobe, some browsers (e.g. Chrome, Safari) has their own PDF preview plugin, which is the default plugin used to open these PDF files. You will have to disable it, so that the browser will use the AdobePDF plugin instead.

In the previous thread , AlphaQuant has provided the solution for Google Chrome. Safari Users can use this link to change their browser plugins.
