A thought I just had - what do you think are the chances that all of us forummers who own Adampak shares could add up to 1 to 1.5% or even 2%, of the total issued shares? Just a thought.

Till today, i had not seen any disclosure announcement of Navis for new share collected from open market.

I may stand to be corrected.. but I think very often the acquirer will only proceed to purchase from the open market only till the close of the offer - i.e. first notice of the acceptance level

This is so because if the acquirer purchases at any lower/higher price, they will be required to offer the same across all other shareholders.

So, perhaps, the so-called transactions are mainly arbitrage opportunities or people who feel that a higher offer can be initiated.

Are we supposed to receive a offer letter from NAVIS? followed by accepting/signing it without having to incur a transaction fee?

You can reserve your right to accept till the 1st closing date ( i believe is 15 May, please check with the offer doc), if you chose so.

Err...do you mean that there would be a second closing date? How many closing dates are there?
