Thank you all for the helpful feedback as usualSmile

I would definitely want to give the 1 week trial a go.

Has anyone tried Morningstar paid subscription?

Seems more comprehensive and has information on all markets, not just Singapore.

Edit:
Or simply put, what is your primary source for business information and fundamental data? For me, I use primarily Reuters and Bloomberg, sometimes Morningstar. If I like the company more, I try to dig up financial report for sgx archives, search their website, valuebuddies, thenextinsight as well as read up analyst report if any. I also google anything that might give a clue on the business and their future prospect.

I also go to remisier.org for daily market buzz, I read BT sometimes since my company provides free copies of it everyday.

Shareinvestor covers Malaysia Bursa stocks as well.

For stock level info, monitor SGXWeb is the best. It is the most up-to-date and 1st hand info.

For macro level info, Reuters and Bloomberg are good sources. I will also get it from reading, both on papers and magazines.

Anyone subscribed before Singapore business magazine? Although it does not cover listed companies but seems to have some interesting articles sometimes. Any feedback?

I found shareinvestor useful for stock screening and monitoring. The few useful features IMO are
- 10 years data for stock screening. The data is pretty up-to-date
- comparison with indexes, both STI or relevant industrial indexes.
- consolidated list of insiders buying for easy reference
- portfolio view for stock monitoring

I find the fundamentals data screening and ratio very useful. But some data are not fully accurate. Dividend yield does not include special dividend yield unless

Still it saves a lot of hard work.

FYI, there is a dividend history available, for those interested on the past dividends paid, as far as 10 years ago.

Morningstar also has free dividend history that dates back 10 years, just that it is not screenable as far as I can tell. Or we can always use SGX.

I sometimes see analyst do performance back testing of screening parameter, P/B band analysis etc. I wonder where they get all these useful tools? It sure will save a lot of effort and help identify bargains more easily.
