is this real?

Good day to you,

I trust my email finds you well.

I am sending you this email to inform you that if you have considered obtaining a second citizenship you can do so in only 3 to 6 months without the need for immigration or move country. This British Commonwealth citizenship will give you visafree entry to Europe, Canada, Singapore and up to 138 countries around the world. You can even stay in United Kingdom for up to 6 months at a time. It will provide you with safety for your family and freedom to establish businesses around the world with the possibility of tax exemption.

Our global offices are staffed with immigration lawyers with over 25 years of experience and our citizenship programs provide you with a second nationality through a simple process and we provide you with your new citizenship or we refund you. You can either make a straight one off payment or hold your capital in real estate for 5 years and receive 120% of your funds back at the end of the 5 years. You will become a new citizen within 3 months of application and can still keep your existing nationality.

The cost starts at USD 100,000 for a single application and increases depending on the size of your family and the ages of your family members.

To receive a quotation, receive more information or meet with one of our Client Relationship Managers, please contact us and we will put you in touch with your nearest regional office.

Best regards,

Janice Williamson

What a sorry excuse for a scam. Anyone dumb enough to pay deserves to lose their money.

1. British Commonwealth

There is no country called "The British Commonwealth". You may be a citizen of a Commonwealth country, but the British Commonwealth itself is merely an organization whose stated goals include "world peace", "gender equality" and "environmental sustainability".

See:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commonwealth_of_Nations

If this company is indeed "staffed with immigration lawyers with over 25 years of experience" then these lawyers are fools for letting a "Client Relationship Manager" write such drivel. Maybe they just have 51 lawyers each with 6 months of experience, thereby constituting over 25 years of collective experience.

2. Payment

Buy real estate, hold for 5 years and get 120% back? Sounds more like a Ponzi scheme than a genuine professional services company.

USD 100k is also very expensive. Any country that actually encourages immigration will have a department to deal with such questions, and they don't charge anything except for paperwork. Certainly not USD 100k.

And why do you have to ask for a refund if it doesn't work out? "No citizenship, no payment" is so much simpler. I doubt you can get a refund - good luck suing them in Dubai. If you are powerful enough to ensure you will get a refund, you probably already have better contacts elsewhere to get your citizenship e.g. your private bankers will probably be very eager to be of assistance and will no doubt know who to recommend.

I do not give stock tips. So please do not ask, because you shall not receive.
