Hello, I am trying out www.finviz.com for the US market. www.gurufocus.com also looks good.
They have limits for the trial/free/demo usage.
Paid versions are:
www.finviz.com = 24.96 US$/month (roughly 300 US$/year)
www.gurufocus.com = 349 US$/year
Cheers!
Please share your experience on these 2, both on trial/free and paid usage.

Hi Buddies,
it is difficult to find net net stocks through current stock screeners and i was thinking of building my own screener with the help of a developer friend.
i also find other screeners filled with unimportant info to value investors and are not cheap to subscribe to.
i was hoping to get a show of hands on who would find a screener that shows the valuation metrics below useful.
net net values, P/ NCAV, P/B, P/E, dividend yield, EPS, ROE, ROA, CAGR of equity, D/E, current market cap
i intend to charge a small token fee to help cover the cost of the screener.
also, open to suggestions of any other valuation tools you might find helpful or any other useful suggestions that can make the screener more helpful for other buddies.

Don't mean to be a wet blanket... but there are already good stock screeners available in the market (at least for me).
Free - CIMB Securities stock screener
Paid - ShareInvestor stock screener.

was just wondering if it was useful to any buddies. i buy net nets and have not found a screener to find them.
if the response is poor i will build one for personal rather than commercial use.

Hi Nebula,
Thank you for the assistance. In my opinion, the stocks that interested me after undergoing 7xx stocks will be in my watchlist. Even without luxury of time, I'll still consider perform the full stock analysis with or without screener.
To experienced individuals, screeners are used as an approximate guage to identify quick decisions or catch time on public transport - nothing really spectacular but science.
Maybe you could do a trial and I may help to do some seo to get it rank? You can choose other monetization methods thereafter.
Cheers,
S K

Hello all, I am new to this forum.
I own a portfolio of SGX-listed stocks and would like to receive a notification (by email or mobile phone) whenever my stocks release Company Announcements.
SGX has an App that until 1 month ago had this feature, unfortunately it stopped working (at least for me) and SGX Mobile support team isn't helping (they respond to my emails, but do not fix the problem).
What are the alternatives for me ? (preferably free...)
Thank you.
