Hi anyone has any gd short-term SGD deposit rate to recommend?

I would suggest ANZ StepUp Time Deposit. Every 3mths can decide whether to continue with higher deposit, or withdraw. With $150k, the interest rate is 1.1%pa for 1st 3mth.

Did they just revise the rates? Was quoted 0.6% for 1st 3 months when i enquired last Dec

Depends on the amount. For below $150k, it will be 0.58% for 1st 3mths. You are referring to this rate? You can refer to their website www.anz.com.sg

I think they are offering effective rates of 1.15%. since it's a step-up, it means the i/r will be increasing so you get 1.15% at end of holding 1 yr.

This is higher than earlier when i enquire. they offered 1.088% effective i/r in Dec. A case of interest rates creeping up?

I dunno.... The other banks' FD rates drops....

just realised anz's step up fd quite s..k - there a number of hidden costs involved when executing it..

perhaps is time to relook ocbc premier dividend scheme
