International Cement Group Lists on SGX Mainboard
Highlights :
* Owns and operates the largest cement plant in the Khatlon Region in Tajikistan in Central Asia - annual production capacity of 1.35 million metric tonnes
* Second plant in Almaty, Kazakhstan is currently under construction – expects completion by 2H2019
* Grinding station in the Khatlon Region in Tajikistan with annual production of 0.6 million metric tonnes – expects completion in 2Q2019
* Intends to acquire SCHWENK Namibia which owns a cement plant with annual production capacity of 1 million metric tonnes in Africa
International Cement Group Ltd. ("ICG"), one of the leading cement producers in Tajikistan, today held its official listing ceremony at the Singapore Exchange.
ICG was listed on the Mainboard of Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited ("SGXST") on 8 March 2019 pursuant to an internal restructuring scheme via scheme of arrangement whereby Compact Metal Industries Ltd transferred its listing status on the Mainboard of SGX-ST to ICG. Upon completion of the scheme of arrangement, Compact Metal was delisted and became a wholly-owned subsidiary of ICG.
