I agree that there is no point being sarcastic. Look at the online comments, It is sad to say that what every we see or do, we tend to have a hindsight on certain things. I think there is an ads going on showing you an injured guy seating in the priority seat being snap for not giving up the seat to a pregnancy woman. Try not to jump into conclusion so fast. A simple kind gesture can also have a ripple effect.

Singapore is a nation of armchair critics. I'm so sick of the hypocrisy as well. Singaporeans have an extremely bad record at charitable giving and volunteer activities.

There are valid reasons to criticize the govt in other areas. But this is just plain whiny

You can't control the rest. Even though this society is getting too materialistic, there are still good people around.
Just follow your heart. Donate with your heart you will feel happiness and peace.
